Let the front and back do different jobs
Keep the front concise
An embroidered crest, printed school name or printed graduation year makes the garment recognisable without competing with the back. Front artwork is limited to 10 × 10cm with centre-chest or left-chest placement. Allow 3 working days when choosing crest embroidery.
Give the back a clear hierarchy
Decide what should be noticed first: the year, the school or the names. Back decoration is single-colour print only, with no crest option, and is capped at an A3 print area.
Choose colour with contrast
The garment colour sets the mood; the print colour must still make every small name readable.
Review the actual garment preview before ordering. Light print colours usually give the clearest result on dark garments; dark print colours are easier to read on heather grey.
Write for the whole group
A short heading is easier to read and less likely to date badly. The editable leavers heading supports up to 20 characters.
